We the residents of Bexhill would like to see the creation of a Town Council; the boundary for which is set at the boundaries of the 9 District Council electoral Wards of Bexhill, within which the Town Council will exercise its power.

Background information

This petition is to achieve enough signatures to trigger a Community Governance Review. Rother DC should then follow published guidelines to inform everyone about the alternatives in local governance so that residents can make an informed choice. The emphasis is on informed choice and it does not mean that the final outcome will necessarily be a Town Council.
